Email attachments in D365

Hi,
Our D365 Customer Service system has been live for 5 months now.  We are discovering that email attachments are taking a lot of database space.  Ideally, we would like email attachments for incoming and outgoing emails to be stored off the database as soon as they are created.  I'm sure that many organisations have encountered this and have dealt with it.
Also, why can't I delete email attachments in D365 just like I can in Outlook?  The Delete button is greyed out on the Email form's attachment sub-grid.
Thanks,
James R

    Hello JR-31101445-0,

    Understanding the Challenge
You've correctly identified a common issue with Dynamics 365: email attachments can consume significant database storage. This can impact performance and increase storage costs.

Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to delete individual email attachments from within the Dynamics 365 interface. This is a limitation of the platform.
