Dynamics NAV error

I can not run Dynamics NAV on a user machine. it gives an error that insufficient permission until I change the permission on DB server so the user ticjed for "DB_Owner" option. I am sure this is not the solution as I am giving high privileged to user. any help appreciated.

hi,

the user needs the sql db rights datareader and datawriter, maybe the "check db status" right. db_owner right is not necessary.

Hi,

What is the exact error message? What version of Dynamics NAV? Is NAV installed on the local or the user connects remotely?

Is the user added as a user in NAV (Tools > Security) with appropriate rights/permissions? Was the security synchronized?
