without webservice key how can add web reference of BC Soap Service in Visual Studio?

Posted on by 135

Hello Experts

As you know webservice key now disable and we can't see it any more on user page

Previously we use webservice key to add BC Soap service reference in Visual Studio?

I have created one console application in c# language. I am trying to add web reference through services reference. I followed these steps reference->service reference->advanced->add web reference->paste web service link. I am getting window of discovery credential

How can we do now? any suggestion or idea?

    Found the solution -

Webservice key still available in Sandbox which we can use to load service.

In Production Envirnment it is not there but can use for Sandbox defination to load it.

Hi, Yes, this is getting very cumbersome. We have to convert to OAuth 2.0 authentication.
Erik has a detailed note that hopefully gives you some hints.
