MR doesn't understand that all companies DO HAVE A FUNCTIONAL CURRENCY DEFINED!!!

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Sigh...I love outdated MR.

Its Configuration Console is saying that one company does not have a functional currency defined when every stupid flippin' last one of them indeed does.

How do I fix yet another stupid situation?

Thanks!

    Hi John,

Most likely there is something with the currency in GP that MR is reading and that is causing this error.  You'll want to query the MC40000 in the company database.  Check the FUNLCURR and FUNCRIDX.  Then compare that to the MC40200 in the Dynamics database.  If the index isn't correct for the currency, MR will throw an error.

You'll also want to check that the currency has an ISO code defined.
