RM Inquiry error Cannot insert Null in table 'ORTRXAMT'

Hi,

I am using gp10 , In RM Inquiry windows  I am getting error Cannot insert Null in table 'ORTRXAMT' for only one customer data. I found that one Debit memo entry ( for January ) is missing in RM00401 and RM10501 tables ,  but showing in RM20101 and GL20000.  Also RM00401 shows duplicate Debitmemo number, column with just debit memo number and all the other columns blank.

    run reconcile for that customer and if not fixed run the check links as well

    Reconciliation and check links process is a must, in addition, check this article as someone experienced the same problem previously

    Hi Muhammed,

    Enable DEXSQL.log file or using SQL Profiler to trace the error occurrence.

    Already tried reconcile , it didnt worked ,  I will try Check links today .

    After enabling dexsql.log I found that  Debit Memo entry is missing in  RM10501 table.

    If I open the debit memo (which is not in rm10501 ) from RM Transaction by Document Inquiry window  and changing the functional currency to originating , Debit amount will change to Zero .

    I think Check Links will helps you to resolve this issue. Please try and let us know the status.

    Check Link Removed the Debit memo from All RM Tables  , so no more error in RM Inquiry windows, But  the Debit memo entry is still there in GL , do I need to run check links for GL Transaction as well?

    Yes do it as it will remove all orphaned records
