    Hi BRBA,

    You must be sure that the following permissions are in the permission set.

    Tabledata Posted invt. pick header --> 7342

    Tabledate Posted invt. pick line --> 7343

    Tabledate Posted invt. put-away header --> 7340

    Tabledata Posted invt. put-away line --> 7431

    Hi, were you able to resolve this? I too cannot figure out what permissions to give, so that the menu item for Create Inventory Put-Away/Pick/Movement can be displayed. If I assign Super, the menu option can be added, without Super it is not available to be added. The users are Warehouse Employees and have all the out of the box Warehouse permission sets.

    RE: Create Inventory Put-away/Pick/Movement

    Hi HOS

    Dynamics NAV 2016 Came with "Permission Record" which can make life easy for creating new permission set.

    1. go to permission set and create new permission set code & description

    2. select the permission set & click on the "Permissions"

    3. on the permission window top Ribbon click on the "Action" tab Last you will see "Record Permission"

    4. Click on the Play button to record and without closing the window open NAV Window and do the process you need to do related to Put-away & Pick. once do all the process and report generation related to the permission you can go to permission window and click stop button and table permission will be added automatically. including the read, write, modify, delete option set automatically.

    5. this recording can do  90% of the job and rest you need to log in and try the new permission set some few tables you need to add manually when every you get an error regarding the permissions on the newly created permission test.

    attached screen shot is for recording option of permission

    Thanks

    RE: Create Inventory Put-away/Pick/Movement

    Dear HOS ,

    There are no specific permission set regarding to this , Its is one time implement . you can do it by user self ,  step as follows

    how to do it .......

    1. Create New permission set and name it as you want (Eg: "Inventory Movement")

    2. then assign it to one user and ask or do all function that they need to do

    3. when that user trying to do the error message will receive : "You dont have following permission tabe data .......   "

    4. then assign that permission to newly created created permmison set(Inventory Movement)

    5. ask relevant users to do what they want according to the their task path assign those all permission to your permission set

    6. Now you have a permission set that what  you want : ou can assing it now to any body wh need your "Put-away/Pick/Movement"

    *** Also this will be a more security that user cannot go to unwanted field because you already define permission what only they need to do

    Are the users included in Warehouse Employees ?

    Try using permission set WM-R/PA/A/P/S which is used to Create receipt, put away, etc.

    yes I have.  if I give someone "super user permission set then they have the option of "create inventory put-away/pick/movement.  otherwise they don't have it.  I don't know what permission set I need to give them so that they will be able to run that.

    Do you mean allow them to run "Create Inventory Put-away/Pick/Movement"? Have you setup users as warehouse employees? (msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh173055(v=nav.90).aspx)
