App for outlook Form is not loading

Hi there

I am facing a unique issue with form load inside CRM.
I have multiple forms - for eg: Form A, Form B. One of these forms has PCF controls which are fully supported and work just fine on Chrome and IE. The issue occurs when I launch the same form on Microsoft App for Outlook.
Scenario:

1- Form A - No issue
2 Form B - Random behavior of timing out or slow loading
I tried switching the same controls on Form A and it loads just fine.

Unknows:

1- The javascript used to load the forms are identical when loading form A vs. Form B.
2- Why form B is giving issues?
3- I have tried disabling Java scrip, JS, and business rule but still no resolution.

Please advise.

I have the same question (0)

    1. Can you please provide outlook version ?

    2. Meanwhile if you open OWA / Outlook on web in chrome , IE and Edge browser. Do you see the issue?

    Hi,

Except JS do you have any other customization or field security or something like that enabled in the form B? If no, please create another form identical to form B and give it a try. If the issue persists, I will suggest you to open a case with Microsoft support team to take a deeper look into this issue.

    Thanks,

    Soumen

    Hi,

Please see the outlook version in the screenshot:pastedimage1594784726081v1.png

I have tried this in the OWA web in all the browsers and it is working fine. However, It is taking some time in IE but it loads without any error.

Also, I tried creating the new form identical to form B but still facing the same issue

    Hi,

Seems like you are using a unsupported version of outlook. Please find below the requirement matrix.

    https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/no-audience/2016/12/13/dynamics-365-app-for-outlook-support-matrix/#:~:text=Note%20that%20the%20Dynamics%20365,when%20connected%20to%20Exchange%20Online.

Note: Not supported does not mean that the product will not work at all, not supported means Microsoft never tested the product with that version and cant not predict the behavior.

    Thanks,

    Soumen

I tried adding PCF control and render in App for outlook in office 2019 and I don't see any issue.

Do you mind adding screen shot of your error , which PCF control are you using, and which CRM version build are you using. That will help me narrow down the investigation and repro.

    Hello Sanket,

Thank you for the response. I am using this https://github.com/jaguil3ra/PowerApps-KitControls/tree/master/src/ShortcutButtons controls as a reference. I tried to import this one but it is also not loading. I am not sure whats is the issue
