What happen to the Disqualify option on my menu bar in Leads?

Posted on by 536

Starting yesterday, some users lost the disqualify option on the menu bar within a lead in Dynamics 365 CRM on-prem.  I have it on one computer but on my other it doesn't work.

See below.

Working computer running Google Chrome Version 91.0.4472.77

Non working computer running same version of Google  - Disqualify is missing

IE works on this computer.

Could it be an update?

And yesterday it showed up!?!  I confirmed with another user and it reappeared for them too. So what happened?

    Thank you Carsten.

i did clear the cache and disable plugins/extensions.  I should clarify.  I am doing this with the same user on two different computers...my user account.  I am the sysadmin.  Here's the real kicker.  We have a test environment and if I login to test on the chrome browser that is "broken" disqualify shows on Lead menu.  i just refreshed that this morning as well.  On a second tab, I have prod open and it's missing.

    Hi Jessica,

if this was a CRM update, for on prem your admin would have manually updated (or deployed a solution), so he should know.

On the computer where this is failing to work in Chrome 91.0.4472.77,

try a CTRL-F5 on the form to load all cached content from the server

(or clear browser cache completely if this does not help)

As next step, you can try if temporarily disabling browser plugins helps.

Last but not least, it makes sense to test with the same user and the same Lead record (not two different ones)

    to rule out missing privileges.

    Regards,

    Carsten
