Duplicate key error in the INVENTTRANSORIGINPURCHLINE table.

We have an AX2012 CU9 live instance which is throwing the following error in SQL:

No se puede insertar una fila de clave duplicada en el objeto 'dbo.INVENTTRANSORIGINPURCHLINE' con índice único 'I_2989PURCHLINEIDX'. El valor de la clave duplicada es (5637144576, hhu, 03021953_IHU).

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object'dbo.INVENTTRANSORIGINPURCHLINE' with unique index 'I_2989PURCHLINEIDX'. The duplicate key value is (5637144576, hhu, 03021953_IHU).

The error does not appear to affect the normal running of the processes in place, and is associated with purchase order lines.  In the example below the purchase order has been Confirmed.

PurchLineIdx index has: Partition, DataAreaId, PurchLineInventTransId.

Does anyone have any experience with this error?

    Hi Ian,

    Can you check the number sequence for the Inventory Lot ID numbers? Is this set to be continuous? If so, it might try to re-use a number from the list which might already in your database. The continuous setting for this number sequence is not recommended. So if it is enabled, please disable this setting.

    Otherwise check the Next value field and see if this is correct or not. If it is lower compared to existing values you have to increase this number.

    The Continuous check mark was indeed selected.  This would make creating inventory transactions slower, of course.
