Originating Currency Data for posted recurring general ledger journals

Good Day

Today I managed to get confirmation on the community that recurring general journals cannot be copied to posted general journals.

We have a client who processes certain recurring journals journals in USD (Their local currency is AUS Dollars) and we need to be able to extract the originating currency amount and exchange rate for reporting purposes but since this data isn't stored in G/L Entry table - Where is this data stored since it isn't in the Posted General Journals ?

I would really appreciate any assistance here.

Ivan,

I saw your post on another community forum question but I will reply here as well. Do you have an example of the entry? I am guessing that this entry might have to do with a Customer or Vendor which are USD Currency. If that is the case, the Sub-Ledger will store the Currency of the Customer or Vendor (USD) and the LCY amounts. Here is my example:
