Upgrade ax 2009 to 2012

I bought  the Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009  product to my customer ,  And  pay  in end of year for enhancement but when the Microsoft upgrade to ax 2012 , the license  key for my customer is not upgrade to ax 2012  its still 2009  , how I can upgrade my license key from 2009  to ax 2012 ?

    Hi Ibrahem,

    Are you a customer or partner? I thought the partner can take care of the upgrade using Partnersource Business Center.

    You can upgrade your licenses, if you have Business Ready Enhancement Plan. You'll find details in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Upgrade Policy on CustomerSource. It's your choice if you haven't purchased any service plan.

    The problem I have Business Ready Enhancement ,  the order status is invoiced but I can not found the location to upgrade license.

    Just ask your Partner Account Manager in Microsoft.

    Open the form "License Information" while navigation the following path> System Administration>Setup>Licensing.

    Click the button "Open license file".

    Select the file and click OK.

    AX will synchronize the database.

    And Done

    Hi Umesh,

    Those are the steps after he has got the correct license he is looking for...

    I agree with Martin, ask the PAM at Microsoft or use the Partner forum. Note that this forum is not having that much activity.
