Hello Everyone,

I am writing a workflow that sends an email on-field value change. I am using dynamic values. The values are working fine on "To" and "Subject" but it is not working on the email body. Any suggestions on that. What is the error?

Here is the screenshot.

    Hi Mohammad,

The dynamic value that filled in to the email body based on what fields in the email form, regarding? If so, you can check the regarding field has filled or not?

and you can clear cache or change another browser to test again.

Or you can try to use 'send email ' action of power automate to achieve the same results.

Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to create an automated flow, select trigger 'when  a record  is update'

then get dynamic value fron previous step.

Also, you can create email message then send email using a the "Send Email" bound action that is part of the "CDS (current environment)" connector.

you can refer it:Send Dynamics 365 Emails from Power Automate - CRM Software Blog | Dynamics 365

    Hi Mohammad,

You can not manually enter the input for retrieving dynamic values from entities. You will need to select the related entity and fields (which you want to populate the value dynamically) from the “Look For” options and the chick ok “Add” button. Then click on the position in the “Email Body” (where you want to add the dynamic value) and click on the “Ok” button. This way the “Dynamic Value” will be added in the “Email Body” and it will be highlighted in “Yellow”.

    Please refer below screenshot,

And when you execute the workflow on the related entity, then it will populate the “Email Body” based on the values provided in the workflow.

Please refer to the below screenshot,

    Hope this helps,
    Thanks!

    Hi

I have the exact same issue, working in the header but not in the body (even though I use the Look for and Add. Customer is on on-prem version 8.1.

I've tried different web browsers but no difference.

Did you find a solution for this at the end?

    Hi,

Please Check you form proper whether the form on which you are trying which is not part of your solution. Or else i suggest you to create new form for trail purpose and add it and modified it then check whether you and able to get dynamic value or not.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I've tried both with a workflow in the solution and to create a completely new, no difference. However, I managed to get further yesterday when I realized the values did work even though they did not get yellow, just needed to save in between every added value.
