Hi,

I was getting this error on Tier 1 Development VHD:

You are not authorized to login with current credentials.

I ran the AdminProvisioning Tool on VHD and the error was gone.

But now I'm getting this same error on UAT. How do I resolve this?

Note: The domain user was same in all this process. Maybe that's an issue? Do we have to user different user on VHDs?

Appreciate any tips.

Best Regards,

I have the same question (0)

    This can mean two things:

    1) Your user is not added in D365 users. In dev system you can run Admin provisioning tool to change the admin account to your account.

    2) Your user is added, but your user account is from different AAD tenant than the one that the D365 instance is linked with (you can see the linked tenant in the About window of D365). If you add users from different tenant, you must add "myDomain.com" in the Provider field on the user form (so it should contain "">sts.windows.net/myDomain.com".

    Thanks Nikoloas.

    You are right actually.

The original Tenant domain is DomainMovies.com. The user I was using is from domain Stories.com (user@stories.com) which has admin access on UAT and Prod environments.

Now I restored UAT database to VHD and ran admin provisioning on VHD from user@stories.com

Due to this reason user@stories.com is now not working on UAT. What do I have to change so that it starts working again on UAT?

Please see my point 2 to see how to add users from different domains.

If you want to change the associated domain of the UAT system, you need to redeploy the system and make sure you use an account from the correct domain when deploying. But you need to use the same domain where the D365 licenses are. Also any ISV licenses are depending on the tenant id/name so you must check what you're actually trying to do.
