Sales Invoice directly printout on printer after posting

AR -> Sales Order Details -> Update -> Invoice. When end user clicks on Ok button then I will make print prview tick on. Then that sales invoice should go directly to the printer. So that I can save time of taking print preview on screen then giving print out. Can any body help me out to do set up? Please note -  I am using AX through Terminal Server. Sales Invoice printer is local but drivers are on Terminal Server.

In AX2009, you can go to Accounts Receivable/Periodic/Sales Update/Invoice.

    Check the Print Invoice Checkbox.

Check the Use Print Management Checkbox.

    Select Invoice.

    Click the Printer Set-up Button.

Change to Printer.  Select your Printer.  Click OK.

AX will save these settings.  You can print all your invoices at one time through this screen if you want, through options.

The above steps will work if you are posting throught the sales order as well.  Just start at posting an invoice through the sales orders.

Hope this helps.  We started posting and printing all our invoices for the day through the Periodic section.  Saved a great deal of time for us.

Hi and thanks for this info,

do you know if it is possible to delay the invoice printing? F.x. if I wanted to update/post all invoices right after they are made but delay the printing and do it through this function.

    Best regards,

You can have a batch job set up.  I am not real knowledgable about setting these up.
