automatic freigh line

how can i add a automatic freight line for customer that must pay freight if order is below a certain amount for all customers that must pay freight... some of our customers are free freight but we have a few that must pay freight and our sales guys forget to add... how to control this so it is not forgotten?

As Mohana mentioned there is no standard functionality for this, but if you are using E-ship add-on it does add the frieght line.

Anyhow you can control this by making sure on sales posting to check if there is a line on the sales order for the freight or not. Even for the free freight make sure you add a freight line with price zero that way it will consistent.

Write a small function to check this and call in on posting routine.

As mentioned by Mohana and Suresh, there is no standard functionality for this. You may have to customize it.
