fields mandatory ignoring

hi expert i have basic problem regarding mandatory fields, i have made some fields mandatory on CustTable Form, 

fields are

segmentId,

SalesDistrict,

when i open a new customer , so the above mentioned fields are underline, which means that these are mandatory to fill before close the form, but what happend in my case when user left all the fields blanks and did not fill any field in that area(Sales Demographics) in which these two fields are mandatory, the form close without notification that fill the mandatory fields first..

and when user fill any field in sales demographics area then my mandatory code working properly,

please guide me where is the problem.

    Hi Munsif,

    The best to do this now is adding the code on datasource level. In that way the mandatory fields should also be checked.

    If you create a record on table level, you will bypass the mandatory check.

    Hi Munsif,

    These fields are not part of the customer table, but another table. If the field of the second table are not touched, the validation for mandatory will not be triggered. You could create a small customization to write the record of this table if the customer table itself will be saved.
