Show hide Delete button on activities based on state

Hi all,

I got  a requirement to show OOB Delete button only on Active activities and hide on inactive activities.

(This should be in all places, Home grid, Form & subgrids)

I tried to put valule rule on display rules on the delete button on activity entity & email entity but for some reason it is not working.

If I need to do this functionality,

1. Do I need to customise individual activities like email, task, phonecall...etc or Activity entity ribbon itself?

any useful links to show/hide OOB button based on activity status?

    Hi Krishna,

    you need to apply some script or ribbon rule to ensure this button is hidden based on your requirement.... refer following article for this..
