How to update a Completed or Canceled record?

Hi,

I currently have a requirement that I need to allow users to be able to perform the bulk edit even if the appointment records are already completed or cancelled.

From what i know both completed and cancelled records are in read only form and the only way to edit them is through opening the records, perform necessary updates then complete/cancel the records again.

Are there any work around for this?

Thank you.

That's right, you can’t edit the records manually if records are completed or canceled. But you can use Power Automate FLOW to update the records. With Power Automate FLOW you can update Appointment records even if they are completed or canceled.

So, for this, you need to create one Power Automate Flow which will be triggered On-Demand, pass input parameters to FLOW,and the passed values will be read in FLOW and will update the record.

    See below screenshot of FLOW:

    Hope this helps!
