Sync outlook calendar on Dynamics

Hi All,

I want to know, how can i sync my Outlook or Exchange (work) account Calendar to Dynamics so that when they are trying book an appointment with me from Dynamics, they can see my availability there.

In Dynamics 365 for Outlook, go to Settings > Administration > System Settings. On the Synchronization tab, select Synchronize appointment attachments with Outlook or Exchange.

I've tried the solution offered here and can't seem to get the already scheduled events and meetings in outlook to sync to dynamics. It goes one way but not the other. I can create an apt in dynamics and it will come across to outlook but not the other way around.
