I have created 2 custom entities A and B in the marketing environment. When i navigate to CI and add data source, select the connect as data verse and look for the 2 custom entities that i have created, i do not see them in the entities list. Can anyone please help me understand if this is a valid ask to see the custom entities
If you have data sharing enabled, when you create a segment in CI, it should be immediately visible inside of marketing. If I understand your question correctly though, if you have a Customer entity , if they aren't contacts mail won't go out to them. It's pretty easy to map your Customer entity to contact , that's something we end up doing pretty freqeuttnly. If you take the customer profiles and map them to contacts, you can then ingest in CI from contacts and you have everything essentially synchronized. I believe that's what you're asking but if not, please let me know.
I was able to see the custom entities after following your suggestion. Thank you.
If i am pushing any custom entity and not contacts into CI, then will i be able to create customer profile using the custom entities and then segments also ? else will i need contacts entity for sure to create customer profile and segments. Please help me understand.
Hi Teja,
You can see the custom tables in dataverse as data source.
Please go to Table properties and mark appear in search result = True.
