Error trying to modify PurchPurchaseOrder report

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 60

Hello, i'm trying to edit de PurchPurchaseOrder report in Visual Studio, but, when i want to refresh any of both "Dataset", i got an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", i've tried flushing cache data, user data, temp data, every kind of restart process, i can't edit it.
The porpouse here is, that i added 3 custom fields in the "PurchPurchaseOrderTmp" table to show in the Report, done, but when i want to refresh Dataset to show the fields i've added in the table, i got the same error.
I tried to Add a new Dataset in visual studio project, but when i want to set the "Query" property from the Report Data Provider class, i got the same error.
Any suggestion? thanks.

    Hello!

Have you synchronized the TMP table? Close down Visual Studio, synchronize and compile the TMP table. Open Visual Studio again and try to refresh the dataset.

    Hi Cyberzamora,

I had this issue once before, I found the issue down to a combination of compiling and restarting the AOS service.

Make sure your CIL is compiled in full, then restart the AOS - I find this tends to resolve issues like you have detailed above.

Thanks guys, i've fixed the issue.

All i had to do, was rename a parameter that was on conflict (this on visual studio). I dont know why, but that was the solution.

    Hi Cyberzamora,

Which parameter do you change? I meet the same error. Thank you very much.

    Hello Richardyan,

I've checked the "Parameters node" in the Visual Studio project.

I honestly don't remember well about this, but i think that there were 2 parameters with the same name, something like:
    Parameter1
    Parameter1[1]
    I hope this help you.
