Unable to install CU7 for AX2012R2 as it is asked for .Net Framework 4.5 even already installed

Dear guys,

I am trying to install CU7 for my fresh AX 2012R2 environment in order to have DIEF but unfortunately it keeps asking for .Net framework 4.5 even i have installed already.

Could you please help to advise?

    Dear Mark,

    You should configure .Net framework 4.5 in Adding roles in Server Manager.

    As mentioned .Net Framework is already installed. I am not sure what you meant by "configure"?

    Hi Andreas,

    I clicked the “View installed updates” in Programs and Features and searched for the latest Windows update that was installed. I tried to uninstall KB3186539 and it worked

    Hi Mark,

    you are perfectly right.

    KB3186539 is the .Net Update from 4.5.XX to 4.7.02053.

    This is avoiding the prerequisites check to succeed.

    i have the same issue when i search for this KB3186539  update it was not there.

    Is anyone solved this issue with other solution.
