How to run an sql query from action

I created an action code (cs class) and I want to send a sql query to my DB and get Results, is it possible ?
a query simple as that - var query = @"select * from person", is there a request ?
How do I do that?

Hi,

You can use Linq query instead of SQL which is same as sql.
