I am very new to Dynamics 365. I have a requirement to  get the purchase order Header and items details from  D365 BC through API for the 3rd part application integration.  In the 3rd party application once the invoice is being process , then I have to post the PO Header along with invoice #. The challenge that I am having now that I am not able to fine the Purchase order related APIs  where as I am able to get and post other APIs (Ex:Vendors, etc https://api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v1.0/Comapny.com/api/beta/companies(7192822e-6ea1-49ab-b8df-288cf9d1cd63)/Vendors ). Is there a specific way to access the PO related APIs. Please help.

Thanks

Arun

You can use the expand feature to have header and Lines in a single call.

    Something like:

    api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../salesInvoices(034a122b-962b-4007-b3d1-00718c2f21ff)$expand=salesInvoiceLines

Thanks for the reply. The purchase order (Entity ) API itself not exposed in BC, in this case , do we have other way to update the PO related entities ?

Why not using web services (SOAP or Odata)? You have only to publish the Purchase Order page and you've all the methods for doing what you need.
