I had just installed the Dynamics 365 Online trial version and had tried to connect it using the Plugin Registration Tool (latest version) but it does not connect. There's no error or warning for the failed connection.
Anyone faces this issue and has any resolution. Please advise.

If you are on Dynamics 365 v9, you need to download the v9 of the Plugin Registration Tool.
Previous version will not work with v9, due to the security changes MS implemented which required using TLS1.2

Due to PRT not showing any error. I wrote a console program to connect to the organisation service. I debug the program when connecting to the service and got the following error from Visual Studio:
"System.InvalidOperationException: Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: https:/xxxxxxxx....."
Does anyone face such problem using the PRT? I realised this only happened on recent trial, I did not face such issue couple months ago.
