    Hi,

I did not like the idea that our webfront would contact directly with AX (the back office). So I created webservices on my website and call them in AX to transfer the data into AX. The webservice is referenced in AX and pull the data down (or up if you want).

You can also create WCF services on the web (if ASP.NET) and then have AX connect with AIF. That would other solution as the above. However, I found that some data types are not good serialized in the webservice, I think WCF has similar problem so you will have to look into that.

I do not understand any of the three options you mention. Can you elaborate a bit more?

    Hi,

If you want to work with the business connector, please investigate a bit more since there are some concerns on the connector (not opening/ closing well). I did not look into those concerns, but if you google around you will find out. You need to create application pool etc. and in AX you setup a proxy.

Maybe you can elaborate a bit more what you are trying to achieve: www.bbayt.nl
