AX2012: Inventory Value report shows strange Average unit cost price

Dear All,

I have an item with incorrect cost price. After running Recalculation function, the price has been adjusted correctly on Inventory Transacitons.

Item Model group: Weighted Avg.

Item transactions in Oct:

There is an counting journal with wrong cost price: 768,310$, but after run Recalculation, the Cost price has been adjusted to 40,498$.

The Settlements are adjusted on Oct 31:

Why does this incorrect cost price appear in Inventory Value report? How to correct it ?

Expected cost price: 49,498

AX2012: Inventory Value report shows strange Average unit cost price

I checked previous months. e.g:

in July: there is not any transactions, only OB:

Then in August: suddenly the system adjusts an amount that affects the Cost price of the item

Then September: there is no transaction

Then October system adjust the cost price up to 2,641,211 as in the picture in previous post.

Does anyone here know why the system keeps adjusting the cost price on the item per month like that?
