Cannot set Crew Member Type for a Bookable Resource Booking which was not booked as part of a Crew

Hi,

I've experienced following issue. There is one open (not already planned) Work Order. I plan it on the Schedule Board for the team A but not for the complete Work Order Time (e.g. complete Work Order Time = 4 hours, but for the team A it is planned only for 3 hours). For the remaining time (1 hour) I try to plan an additional user B which is not a member of the team A. After dragging the Work Order to the Schedule Board and assigning it to the user B I get following warning:

Cannot set Crew Member Type for a Bookable Resource Booking which was not booked as part of a Crew.

Does anybody of you have an idea about this warning?

Hi Mark.

I haven't tried to do your scenario.

You can create another resource requirement on the work order with one hour to schedule resource B.

Where you ever able to get a resolution to this issue? We are facing the same issue. In our environment we have tower crews which have 3 - 5 members on it, typically 1 Field Superintendent will oversee 3 tower crews and 2 civil crews. We are able to book the field superintendent, but they cannot update their status in the field due to this error.
