Hi,

I have started learning D365 F&O and studying to get the D365 F&O Developer certificate.

In order to setup a local development environment, I need access to LCS (and I need to have a paid subscription for this).

Seems as there is no trial for F&O, is the only option to purchase a commercial plan?

The intent is not to use it for business but to learn for the developer certification.

Hi,

I managed to register as a partner and now have access.

Issue was that I had to create another user for my tenant, and use that user to login to Partner center.

Hi,

What exactly do you define as a proper work account? Is it an organizational account or a private email such as hotmail, live, or gmail? You can also try with an in-private browser session. If you keep having issues, you can also reach out to a partner account manager at Microsoft in your region.

Hi,

I am trying to register as a partner but keep getting logged out when selecting "To enroll in one of the following programs Sign in again using your work account."

And I have a proper work account etc..

The process to register as a partner seems quite complicated.

Hi,
Two ways to use LCS:
1. Become a partner, LCS is provided to customers and partners as part of the Microsoft support program.
2. Become a customer of financial and operational applications. You can log in using Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) credentials.

Hi,

To be able to use LCS and deploy cloud hosted environments or get access to downloadable VMs, you would need to be a customer or a partner. Partners can request a partner trial. Are you affiliated with a partner?
