Multiple PO Delivery Buildings at same Postal Address

We have a single Plant with a single postal address. and a single "warehouse".

However, the plant site is large and has multiple manufacturing buildings that each have their own deliver dock number and use different materials.

Is it possible to create multiple Purchase Order Deliver To addresses for the same postal address, so the delivery drivers know what building to deliver the goods to?

Can the Buyer select the suitable delivery building address when generating the purchase Order?

Ideally, the part numbers or product groups (or some other custom grouping) being selected on the lines will prompt the correct assigned building number for that part/product, and a new PO could be cut for the different products requiring different delivery addresses. I think the PO can only show a single delivery address, but maybe we can create variations of the postal address with the building number added?

Or, purchase line generation can be sorted by the part number assigned address/building code, then by supplier, to make the process more streamlined?

Thank you all in advance for any assistance or suggestions to make this workable.

Unfortunately you do not have that functionality as a standard function. You can of course manually override the address on any given purchase order, but that means that the purchaser will have to remember to do that process.

The other choices you have a the locations address, the default company address or a customers address. The last one can be used if you want your vendor to ship directly to your customer.

So what you ask for requires customization.

When i have done similar things i have based it on the use of GLN so that you can define several GLN number to a location and then select the correct GLN on your purchaser order. Then the address on the purchase order would be updated accordingly.

It could also be worth the effort to check on appsource if there are any solutions available there that might offer a functionality similar to what you are looking for.

Hi, You can use Ship-to field to to specify the delivery address.

Or, maybe you can also use Alternative Order Addresses, but this is vendor specific.

Hope this can give you some hints.

    Thanks.
