Hi

i am trying to link an excel worksheet to a management reporter report ,

is there a clear step by step on how to set this up ?

because first i created a Row Link as you can see in the below but it doesn't ask for the path of the excel sheet or which sheet inside (except if i select FD+Worksheet) - what is the difference

    Hi Silvano,

The first option was available in prior versions and allowed the specification of ledger accounts and external worksheet data in a single column. An example is column J in the following screenprint

    dynamicsaxfico.files.wordpress.com/.../en_202_0035.png

The second option only allows including data from external worksheets in a single column. If you use this second option, the worksheet is defined in the Report tree of your Report. An example can be found here

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Silvano,

That's not supported in Management Reporter. If you require data from other sources you can make use of Power-BI or the AX2012 cubes.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
