Dear All,
I need to delete a county from the address setup. The system is not allowing me to delete it with an error message "Counties cannot be deleted while dependant Addresses exist. Delete dependant Addresses and try again.". i would like to know the entity mentioned in the error message so that i can delete the record from that entity and then delete the county?

I'm not able to reproduce your error. I think you did the utmost yourself. Probably you can create a ticket for Microsoft Support. They should be able to determine which exact record is referenced as "dependant address".

Thank you for the input. my understanding is the same too. even after removing the counties from the "party postal address V2" entity, i am not able to delete the entity. it shows the same error. as "dependant address to be deleted". when i checked the address is available in the history entity ( Party postal address history). but i cannot delete from the history file as it says that it is read only entity. can you please look into.... Thank you

There is an entity with the name 'Party postal address V2'. You can use the Excel workbook designer to open this entity and delete the row(s) with the incorrect county. Ensure before deleting the record that it is not a primary address. Potentially, you can also change the county instead of deleting the full address.
