We are looking to populate the Collection letter note with the customers corresponding Collection Agents Name, Phone number and e-mail address. Has anyone done this with a formula? I am exploring the CustCollectionsAgent table now. Was curious if anyone here has already done this?
Map the required fields (e.g., agent name, phone, email) from the CustCollectionsAgent table to the collection letter note.
2. Custom Formula in ER:
In the ER format designer, create a formula to fetch data from the CustCollectionsAgent table based on the customer ID or other relevant keys.
Use the LOOKUP or JOIN functions in ER to link the customer and agent data.
3. Data Entity Extension:
Extend the Collection Letter Data Entity to include fields from the CustCollectionsAgent table.
This allows you to pull the agent's details into the collection letter note during the generation process.
4. Custom X++ Code:
If ER doesn't meet your requirements, consider writing custom X++ code to fetch and populate the agent's details in the collection letter note.
