how to use Roll up field or calculated field to calculate the value of the field in crm based on certain condition

Hi All,

I have a requirement to make a field roll up or calculated do set some calculated value in the field. i have a field named "12 M booking amount" in my account record . and its value should be set by opportunity record . When an opportunity is won the values of 2 field present in the opportunity should be fetched - the field names are Unsold Remaining amount and Estimated value . And the difference amount value of this field should be set in '12 M booking amount' field which is present on Account. How can we achieve that.

Please guide with this requirement. Thank you.

    Hi,

    You can create calculated field in Opportunity entity to store the difference value between two field you mentioned in your requirement.

    Now create Real time workflow on Opportunity status change, check if status is won then update account record field value with calculated field .

    But this will override the value on Account field every time new opportunity is created and status is changed to Won.
