Role has no effect on all companies

Hello,

I 've created a role which is assigned to all companies. There is a form which I need to open via a menuitembutton. I saw what duties and privillegies I need with the security tools on menuitems (in display). However, it works fine but it tells me that I have insufficent rights for some companies. My question is: how roles,duties or privillegies  are connected to each companies? ( I checked roles,and they are assigned to all companies).

    Hi Rati,

    If this is standard code, please tell the name of the method and the object where this is found. That would be helpful to verify the error. Is the error coming even when the journal type is the same between several companies? E.g. Payment journal in company A will not have the error, but a Payment journal in company B raises this error.

    Hi Andre,

    if (!ledgerJournalTransDailyButton.menufunction().hasRunPermissions())

       {

           // Permission denied.

           throw error("@SYS106894");

       }

    the error comes from here,it pops out on certain items (as I found out it is only on some companies,I check the field companyid)

    the error is:

    Insufficient rights to execute Menu Item Lines.

    Hi Rati,

    If you don't assign any organization, a user should have access on all legal entities. Can you share some more details about the form, privileges, duties and roles. What is the exact error message?

    Could the menu item button be associated with a specific country/region, and the companies where you do not have access are not part of that country/region?
