Hello everyone, I would like to ask what's your approach on extending a functionality which copies the attachment from PurchRFQCaseTable Header attachment to purchase order header attachment. I have a scenario where in we upload an attachment in request for quotation and once we accept the bid, D365 will create a related purchase order. Now, I want to access the attachments in RFQ (screenshot below) in the created PO attachments. Thank you.
Hi,
In this case I think you can try to use the below method to copy the attachment:
DucuRef::createFromDocuRef(DocuRef _docuRef, RecId _refRecId, TableId _tableId = _docuRef.RefTableId)
Firstly you get the Docureft of the Quotation and then use the above method to copy to the PO.
Regards,
Hello Alex,
To which class should I extend or put this code?
Thank you.
It based on your requirement on the time that you want to copy the attachment. You can try to debug and see the class that created PO when you accept the quotation, then add the above code after the PO has been created.
