Could you share the screenshot or log of the error?
In addition, did you register any plugin on opportunity?

Hi,
Do you have any workflows or plugins updating Opportunity on Update or Status Change?
If yes, i would suggest to disable these and try Closing the Opportunity.
This will narrow down if we have a problem with a workflow/plugin.

Could you share the screenshot or just paste the error message you are receiving?
Also, could you make sure all the fields on the opportunity form is updated correctly , The opportunity close will mostly throw an error either due to customizations(like plugin,Business rule,or workflow ) or it would be because the fields are not updated correctly.
