I would like to get my workflow to send out approvals in serial mode to two approvers when the requisition is more than $xx (i.e.$5000). Can you help with that?

send approvals to immediate supervisors
escalate after 2 hours
send notification to requester when no approval was ever received. Is this possible?

Please help me to modify the current WF. Any help would be appreciate.

Do you have any particular problem?

Or does it mean that you aren't familiar with workflows at all and you don't know how to approch any of the requirements?

Hi,

This is possible by the below solution

send approvals to immediate supervisors- Create Managerial hierarchy with Sign up limit policy

escalate after 2 hours- use escalation setup in WF

send notification to requester when no approval was ever received. Is this possible?- Set up in escalation process, if no one approves by 2 hours, it will be rejected and send back to creator.

I have problem in this one.

I would like to get my workflow to send out approvals in serial mode to two approvers.: I do not understand how can i send in serial mode.

escalate after 2 hours because I did not want to reject just send the notification.

escalate after 2 hours- use escalation setup in WF: is the escalation possible without action.

Hi,

You can insert 2 approval elements with managerial hierarchy and use conditional decision for signing limit in between those 2 approvals.

You can specify time limit and enable escalation with required assignment.

Note: To use supervisor/managerial approval, you need to setup workers with positions. To use signing limit, you need to setup jobs.

I set this and it is working good but as per signing limit.

But still not able to understand 2 approval element.

Add 1st approver with condition as below. You can add conditional decision with above condition(signing limit) if it is true connect to stop workflow element. If it is false add one more approval element and select required assignment for this element.

You can setup conditional decision based on purchase requisition value also like below without using signing limits.

Hi Ramit

I did Escalation setup as under but could not get the notification or email.

Can you please help me out. I want to generate the escalation if the person who got the Work item and they will not take any action.
