Hello,

I am creating a purchase requisition with requested date at the header level as 12/28/2017 and added line with Item A, the requested date at the line level changes to 4/21/2018 which 120 days from now. Is there any set up on item which does this. For other Item B it changes to 4/23/2018. Please let me know how to find the set up for this.

You need some customization to achieve that, no set up available

I found the reason for this, leadime edit method has been disabled on the InventItemOrderSetup form which can edit and store the lead time value on the InventItemPurchSetup Form. leadtime basically increases the delivery date to the days mentioned on the item. For example if the leadtime for item A is set to 120 days then when requisition is entered the delivery date is pushed to 120 days from the entry date.
