Horizontal arrangement of fields in Field and Field group pattern

Hi ,

I have a task to Redesign an old custom developed form because it is not following any of the design patterns.

In redesign i have to arrange fields in horizontal arrangement in [Fields and Fields Group Pattern] but i don't know to do it .

In old Design it was done by using column property but after applying [Fields and Fields Group Pattern] it was not available.

Need to arrange fields of this Level Group to Horizontal arrangement.

    Hi SAAD,

    Did you try to  set pattern for tab page to Custom and set columns to 2 on the group?

    Custom Pattern can allowed it when the standard design does not meet  your requrement.

    Thanks Judy for your response . Actually I tried Custom pattern but there was a BP warning that custom pattern is applied so apply one of the available pattern.

    I am also resolving BP Warnings ,so that's why I am looking for a better approach , if its available it will very useful in my project completion.

    You can achieve your functional requirement only by using a custom pattern.

    This is because when you use form patterns, the forms are expected to render without issues even on small mobile device screens, which fit only one column. And therefore you can't have fields side by side.

    Also MS uses Custom pattern in some situations, so if it solves your requirement and you don't see any functional harm in it, then I recommend you to use it.
