Microsoft CRM / LinkedIn Integration

Two questions:

1.) We're currently using Salesforce CRM. There is some degree of LinkedIn integration. If we moved to Microsoft CRM is there an added level of features / benefits re. the LinkedIn integration we'd enjoy?

2.) Most importantly, our database has not been kept as updated as it could be. The ideal feature for us, and certainly a reason to move to Microsoft CRM would be if MCRM could recommend updated LinkedIn contact information for ALL of our database. We realize that some contact information in LinkedIn is only offered to 1st level connections. But current company and title would be very helpful.

    Hi Paul,

For both your questions, I think you can start off with this - appsource.microsoft.com/.../linkedin.0cb76fe0-d453-4edb-a68c-65fb9119493a

You can create a 30 day D365 CRM trial and have the above LinkedIn Sales Navigator as trial as well.

And you can actually review how it will behave with the given integration. On a high level, this is a good point to start off with since keeping the database in sync is the primary function. Moreover, you can test what you need.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Paul Donovan,

    To answer your questions.

    1. I am not familiar with your particular business, but there are a lot of benefits to moving to Microsoft Dynamics from Salesforce.  You are likely to enjoy the Microsoft Relationship Sales solution which brings together LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales in order to empower your sellers to drive more personalised and meaningful engagement with buyers.
    2. You can retrieve the current company and title of people with the Microsoft Relationship Sales solution. However, you will require custom development to update your existing database with this information. I recommend contacting a Microsoft Partner such as DXC Eclipse to implement Dynamics 365 and this functionality for your company.
