Splitting Comma separate strings

I have this string 
 
example = Test,Test2,Test3;
 
and i need to split the example without using strSplit() function. 
 
Can you help me, this for AXAPTA

    strSplit() is the right function for this purpose. If you have requirements that aren't covered by strSplit(), share the requirements with us. There surely are other ways, but we can't address your requirements unless you tell us what they're.

    by this I need to split (,) and I used AXAPTA ver. 2000 and there is no strSplit() function for that version

    Axapta 2000 doesn't exists. Please give us the correct product name and the version.

    Do you have the str2con function? It will split a string for you as well. Please show us the version you are using.
