Hi all,

I have a problem when I want to get an original preview in the sales order invoice and the error "An exception of type MetdataException has occurred while performing the operation" thrown.

I saw similar forum questions but none of them helps me.

I do Full CIL, restart AOS, restart SSRS, and clear cashe.

    Hi Danial,

    The most likely cause for this is an incomplete relation defined in one of the tables. Please check if you have any incomplete relations in the CustInvoiceJour table.

    Are there any customizations on the report? If this is on a development environment, have you tried to refresh the dataset in VS and re-deploy the report?

    It's not a report

    it is a print invoice journal in sales order used ssrs mechanism.

    The exact address is: all sales order-->select invoiced so-->invoice tab-->invoice journal button-->original preview

    and I have no customization on it.

    It is an SSRS report - SalesInvoice. Please try re-deploying this report and try again.

    Also, is this happening for only one user or all users?

    Hi Danial ddm,

    Please try:

    1> Refreshed all caches

    2> Deleted AUC files

    3> Refreshed Dataset from Visual Studio

    4> Re-dployed ssrs report from AX as well as Visual Studio

    I redeploy it again from VS and AOT but an error is thrown.
