AP checks change format in mid check run

We recently upgraded from GP2010 to GP2018.  My issue is printing AP checks; the first check prints fine (Report = Check With Stub on Top and Bottom - Text), but all subsequent checks print in a different format (I do not know what Report it is using but is check on top stub in middle).  I have removed all other Reports from the Modified Reports window, but that has not helped.

If anyone knows how to correct this, I could use the help as I am now having to batch and print one check at a time.

Thank you,

David

If the problem coincided with the upgrade, you need to document the customizations to your check format, backup the dictionary, delete the customization, and then insert the latest version of the report from GP 2018.  You'll then need to re-do customizations.

(While you are at it, test out the Graphical format of the check stub.  It is a rock-solid format with the more readable check face font and nice check stubs.  It also has the latest table structures.)

I think the new long description in GP 18.2 is another reason to recreate the check modifications.

Thanks for the response.  But would doing this stop the check format changing after the 1st check?  The 1st check is printing correctly, but check 2 and all others are printing using some other format.

The length of each section of the check format is critical to getting the check placed exactly perfectly on the paper.  If you feel recreating the modifications with the latest check format is too much work, you could compare the lengths of each section and adjust them to match to see if that fixed the issue.
