Hello!
I am trying to insert a Customer Voice survey into a Dynamics 365 Marketing email.
Integration is enabled in administrator settings and I follow the approved instructions by adding a button, selecting Link to > Survey, choosing my survey (that does pull from Customer Voice), and setting the button text. However, when I send myself a test email, no button appears at all.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Yes, thank you!!!
Hello,
edit the Customer Journey, select the Email and in the properties add the Survey in "Email Elements".
Your survey must be added as a reference in the Customer Journey in order to show it in the email.
Does it solve it?
Hi,
Have you tried to send the email with Send Now instead of Test Send?
Since there would be some relationships after inserting the survey and the Test Send feature only sends emails to fixed email addresses and does not directly reflect these relationships.
You can create a test contact with the email address as the email field of the contact.
At first, I read your response and thought you were correct so I tested it in a customer journey with only myself as a recipient. Unfortunately, the email was delivered to my inbox still missing the button that was linked to the survey. It wasn't even there after opening the email in a browser.
The search for answers continues...
Hi emhe,
Sometimes it is possible that actions like QR codes, Survey links are not generated via "Test Send" and only reachable via Customer Journeys.
I'm curious about the result :)
