Making Columns Visible

Hi,

If I go to help-about this page- table fields I can see a host of fields that I'd like to add to the add/remove columns section. I also know it is possible to do.

Is there a guide on how to do this, I have exhausted google searching this topic.

    Hi Chris,

The fields that aren't available in add/remove columns need to be added as controls on the page before they appear in add/remove columns. This mean you need to get a developer involved, or you need to add the fields yourself, which actually is not hard at all.

Anything that is not there on the add/remove columns section means that you need to add them to page using dev.

I have the right access to make this change but do not know how. Anyone able to share some instructions?

I take it that you are on 2018 OnPrem? Do you have access to your database with a development client?

Ok, now you just need to find the page to modify in the designer and hit design.

You should get a view pretty much like this one:

The button circled in yellow is the field list and the red arrow would be the place where to add the fields

on this page. That is, try to find a good place for your fields, usually a container with similar fields.

I would advise practicing in non-live environment first.
