Job queue entries

Hello Experts,

Can anyone help shed some light as to why a job that I have set up to run in the job queue entries every 2 minutes stops running when other jobs are running?  I thought Nav is able to run multiple jobs at any point in time.  Granted, this is the first job I am actually running every 2 minutes  during business hours.  I don't know what else I can do to make this run every 2 minutes in lieu of other jobs that run during that time.  We use NAS services to auto run the jobs.

    Hello,

After the job is run and stop, what is the earliest start datetime on the job queue entry ?

    Hi mbr,

does it have any error code? If the job you're running throws an error and it's not handled correctly, then the job queue entry will stop.

HI Suresh.  The job will run from 4AM-11pm every week day and will run every 2 minutes.  What I have noticed is it would stop when my other jobs are running....then it would resume again.  I have noticed also that when I have simultaneous jobs running, one job will wait for another job to finish before it even starts regardless of the start time I have set up.  Thoughts?

Hi Robertas.  No, no errors.  I am aware that if it errors out, the job queue will stop.  Hence, I have a sql server trigger that will send me an email when any of the job queues error out so I can restart.

Does all those jobs belong to the same Batch ?

no.  They are separate job queues.  But if you are asking if they are running under the same service, yes, I am using NAS Service to run these jobs.
