Re-import Error Message: The following option set values could not be mapped

Hi,

I have exported all of my records from an entity in CRM and made the needed updates and are now trying to re-import that same file as an xlxs. When I brows my file for import I get the following message: "The following option set values could not be mapped: XXX. This could lead to potential import failures". The value is in the option set list in CRM and I don't understand why this won't work or how to solve it. And I don't want to take any chances while importing 13 000 records.  Any help is highly appreciated, thank you!

    Hi

Did you type over the field that relates to the option set or did you use the drop down to select it?

Hi Mark, thanks for your response. I don't fully understand what you mean though..? All I did was trying to upload my file and immediately got this message? Or do you mean in my Excel file? In that case yes, but I have only typed over with values that exist in CRM.

    Thanks!

    Hi all,

Thanks for responding. However, I managed to solve my problem. There's been a change in the source data and a new value added there that was not added in the option set for the field in CRM, which of course caused a failure. The fact that this value already existed in another option set for another field is probably what confused me.

    Thanks!
