Version control - AX 4.0 on Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Good morning,

Did anyone had any luck of making AX 4.0 to work with TFS? Here is what Microsoft says: "...you can extend the version control functionality to use other version control tools".

    You can look at how it's implemented in newer versions of AX. Nevertheless I would rather upgrade to a newer version than reinventing the wheel for a version which is already ten years old.

    Thank you Martin.

    That's exactly what we are doing - moving to a newer version :) However, the old one will still be around for a few years, and it's just pain to develop for it without version control system.

    I will have a look how is it implemented in AX 2012, and will hope it won't take ages to transfer the functionality over to AX 4.0.
