Bind form to text box as a lookUp

Hi all

I made a form and I want to use it on another form's string control as a lookup. This control is not bind with any data source. It is simply a text box. I also need to use all of the fields which are in the form that I need to use as a lookup and fetch these lookup fields from the form and fill out multiple string controls.

I think the best thing to do is pass the lookup to a table method or class that can call simply as a display method

I am using AX 2009. It is not working for me. I am not able to use this method in ax 2009 stringControl.registerOverrideMethod. It is giving me error.

Yep this method does not exist in 2009, my bad. Please check this article it's for 2009 programming4.us/.../9044.aspx
